8th Grade Signature Unit: Ethical Implications of Technological Advancements
Throughout the unit, students will be analyzing human behavior, and how that is influenced based on technological advancements. As a result, students will understand and demonstrate knowledge of the effects technology has on the world, by identifying the benefits and drawbacks of technological advancements as they were integrated into society. To demonstrate this understanding, students will select a topic related to technological advancements in society. After collaborating with peers, the students will present their findings as an individual, persuasive- project, in a format of their choosing.

7th Grade Signature Unit: Exploring the Anthropogenic Impact of Environmental Degradation
The 7th Grade Signature Unit will draw on all subjects to provide students with a deeper understanding of the impact that humans have on the environment. In addition to exploring fossil fuel consumption along with the feasibility of various alternative energy solutions, students will incur a more profound understanding of various forms of pollution, what causes it, and ultimately, what can be done to reduce it. They will ultimately choose a focus to research deeper, and display their findings at the culminating "Footprints on the Future" fair.

6th Grade Signature Unit: Discovering Potential Career Options
6th Grade Students are learning about different careers, and have individually chosen a specific job path to research and present at a culminating career fair. Their choices were based not only on perceived interest, hands-on science explorations based on potential career paths, and market demand, but also on the results of the Career Cruising website, which suggests top careers for the students based on an extensive line of questioning.
